Join Zahra and learn how to add a sword to your dancing.
In this workshop you will learn a variety of ways of incorporating a sword in your routine, including balancing, framing, and floor work options.
When: Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at 8:05pm-9:05pm
Sword: You will need a sword for this workshop. There will be a few available for use (please contact info@desertrosedancestudios.com if you require a sword for the workshop).
South Location: 4829 - 89 St, there is free parking in front of the studio.
What is recommended for class: Dress in comfortable fitted active wear. Please bring a yoga mat. There will be an optional floor work component of the workshop (there will also be variations offered for those that would prefer not doing floorwork). You are welcome to bring knee pads, or an extra knee mat. A water bottle is also suggested as there are no water fountains in the building.
